The cost of Korean dog foods has soared to more than $8 per kilo.
The price of pet food is a constant subject of debate, with consumers debating the best brands and brands of kennels and how much they should spend on dog food.
But the Korean food industry is seeing its fair share of criticism for the cost of pet foods.
The Korean Food Industry Association (KOFIA) is a trade association representing the country’s major pet food companies.
It recently reported that the cost per kilogram of kibble rose to $8.50 from $6.50.
“There’s a lot of pressure from consumers,” KOFIA President Lee Soo Kwon told NK News.
“They feel that the industry is in a state of financial crisis.
They’re very concerned.”KOFia also said that pet food prices rose at the same time the country experienced a major economic downturn.
That caused pet food manufacturers to increase the prices of their products.
KOFias chief executive, Kim Yoon Sang, said the company saw its annual profit increase of 11 percent from the previous year.
“It’s a very important trend in the pet food industry,” said Lee.
“In the past, the industry would have been focused on the quality of their pet food.”
Lee said the industry was in the middle of a consolidation period, with some companies going out of business due to higher costs.
He said that the company has not seen any significant changes in the cost structure of the pet industry since the consolidation period began.
But he also pointed out that the food industry has also seen a decline in sales.
“There are some brands that have seen some of their sales decline,” Lee said.
“We’ve seen some companies that are seeing a decline of around 60 percent from their previous year sales.”
Korea’s pet food market is worth $1.7 trillion.
According to KOFia, pet food sales fell 11 percent in 2017 from a year earlier.
Lee said there is some competition among pet food brands, but that most of the competition comes from overseas.
Many of the competitors have lower costs, higher quality ingredients and higher standards.
He said there are also cheaper brands available in Korea.
