The Serie A season is back on the air after the end of the winter break, and TV will return to the Serie A in 2019-20.
The 2018-19 season will kick off on Saturday, May 2, 2019, and will run for five weeks.
The television channel La Stampa is taking on the responsibility of delivering the games for the entire season.
La Stampa will be hosting three games in the coming months, and the club is also planning to introduce a new online service in the next few weeks.
It will allow fans to access games and all the results on its website, with the option to watch on a mobile device.
The company’s sports director Paolo Rizzi said: “La Stampe has a rich history and we know that our fans will be able to enjoy the best football in the world in 2019.”
La Stamps website will also be updated in the future, allowing fans to receive notifications when certain matches are live.
It is also preparing for the return of a TV rights deal with La Liga’s Liga BBVA.
The first two games of the season will be played on the Saturday night, with La Stamps games being shown on TV on the Sunday night, while the remaining games will be broadcast on La Stampes.
Rizzi added that there were no plans to bring the team back to television as a regular fixture, as there are no clubs in the league in the same situation.
“There are other big clubs in Italy with smaller audiences, so the idea of putting the Stamps on television is not the only one,” he said.
“We are still planning to do a few games, but nothing that would affect the rest of the competition.”
The Stamps have not played in Serie A since the 2016-17 campaign, when they lost to Milan at the Stadio Olimpico.
