There is no doubt that the Asian food market has grown in recent years, with food brands such as KFC and McDonalds competing in an ever-growing market.
But there are some new trends and concerns that are making Australians wary of eating too much Asian food.
The latest example of this is the rise of a brand called the Asian Food Market, which has grown into a billion dollar market.
This company has grown to become Australia’s biggest food brand, with a turnover of more than $1 billion.
Its founder, who is now a billionaire, said the Asian market had helped boost the economy by making Australia more competitive.
“When we opened, there was only one food retailer in Australia,” he said.
“Fast forward to 2020 and there are seven of them in Australia.”
What we are doing is taking Australian food and turning it into a global brand.
“The company operates in Queensland, Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia, and employs more than 150 people.
Its CEO, David Naiyar, said he felt his company was in the right place to take advantage of this opportunity.”
The Australian market has become very, very important to our business, particularly in the retail space,” he told The Conversation.”
We have been able to do a lot of very good things with our business.
We have a great reputation.
We do a great job in retail, and that has translated into great revenue.
“The new CEO said his company would not be selling out of Australian products, but he acknowledged that some Australian consumers were becoming less sensitive to the taste of Chinese food.”
It’s a little bit of a tricky one, because the Asian consumers have become more sensitive to Chinese food,” he explained.”
If you do a survey of Australians, they’re very sensitive to what they think of Chinese products.
“David Naiys own businesses have had some success selling Asian food in the United States, where they are the largest supermarket chain in the country.”
There are a lot more Asian food brands now, but we have our own brand,” he admitted.”
A lot of those products are not necessarily very well known, and we are not trying to sell them in America.
“But for Australian consumers, the trend towards Asian food has been less positive.
The Asian Food Markets Association has welcomed the increase in demand, but warned Australians to not go overboard.”
