The Lowes food saving challenge is a national initiative by the food retailer to provide Irish consumers with a better way to save money.
The aim of the initiative is to help Irish consumers save as much as €100 per week for the next 12 months, according to the website.
The challenge has been launched to raise awareness of the low cost of food in Ireland and is currently running at more than 500,000 participants, according the initiative’s website.
To enter, participants need to complete a survey on the Lowell Food Savings website.
The participants have to enter their address and phone number and complete the survey.
Participants will be randomly chosen to receive €100 from Lowes in return for saving an average of €80 per week on food purchases.
The winners will receive €50 for each day they save, while the runners-up will receive a €25 gift card.
Participant must complete the questionnaire online.
The winner of the Lowest Price Lowest Cost Challenge will receive the following prizes: €10,000 to Lowes from the charity of their choice.
This prize is open to all participants and is non-transferable.
The participants will also receive a free Lowes app for smartphones, tablets and PCs.
Participation is limited to 15 participants.
